Amy and Carl - Feburary 2007 still on their honeymoon

been living in brookline since i got my masters in social work in 1980. been working in health care for 24 yrs..from a comprehensive health center to a community hospital to an acute care hospital.......i work in intensive care units and deal w/ alot of profound things..........., end of life decision making, family conflict, ethical issues, team communication, (or lack thereof), etc. I LOVE MY JOB......(truly). i also train lots of new staff. this year, (6/04), i was the recipient of an annual award in the hospital called "the bernice k. snyder award for clinical excellence in supervision".

been swimming in the a.m. daily, doing transcendental meditation since i learned in our senior year, living a healthy happy life,........ w/ sufficient chocolate and great friends to get me over the hurdles. swam the provincetown harbor in sept. '03, to raise $ for people w/ AIDS. an excellent challenge and great accomplishment.

great prior relationships but not married and still optimistic.
find me if you're in boston!

NEWS FLASH!
last year, (8/04) i met carl at wendy hollender's 50th birthday party. this year, we are engaged to be married. (this is the VERY short version of the beginning of a new chapter. suffice to say, life/love is very, very good.) you won't find me in boston. i'll be in connecticut. i feel lucky and blessed to have this man in my life.. photo to be posted soon............

UPDATE 2007
We've been married for almost a year. Living in the country.......about to be grandparents, and basically having a ton of fun. Carl is the man I have been waiting for...and thanks to Wendy Hollender

ANOTHER YEAR.........ZIPPED RIGHT BY
We are about to go to our granddaughter's first birthday party. For pictures of the cutest kid and our extended family, you can check out www.evalinakim.com
Carl and I love to be as ridiculous as possible with her. We are probably causing some sort of childhood trauma by being so out of the ordinarily goofy, but well, we can't help it.
Life in the country with Carl continues to be great. I go to Great Neck every other week to check in on my incredibly shrinking mother. (How can one person get so small?) Otherwise, all is status quo. I wonder when the next reunion is, by my math isn't what it used to be............

12/21/09...........about to be a grandma for the second time. Evie (#1 gradnchild) calls me "grAAmy"..........like grandma and amy combined. this is fun.....

march 2011-wow-I've been lax here. sylvia, (granddaughter #2) is now more than a year old. carl and i love to go to boston, send the parents away for the night and hang out with "the girls". we get into all sorts of trouble, which most times, involves tumbling in the living room, eating frozen bagels, (yuck, evie's favorite), and skipping nap-time. we just got back from sanibel island and it truly is heaven on earth. anticipating my stepson's wedding in september to be held in the back yard.............all is well in the universe.
