David Brooks

I graduated from Hobart & William Smith Colleges in '76 with a major in Economics and a minor is Sociology. Graduated from Columbia Univesity Graduate School of Business in '78 with joint majors in Accounting and Logistics and graduated from Washington Univesity School of Law in '81 with concentration in Taxation.

I have worked for IBM in Amsterdam, Netherlands as a marketing specialist, the former Touche Ross & Co in St. Louis, MO as a tax practitioner, the former Ernst & Whinney in St. Louis, MO as a management consultant in taxation. I currently am President of Superiority, Inc. in Manhattan which has retail, wholesale and internet operations under the names Just Bulbs, Superior Light+Fan and Superior Lamp & Electrical Supply.

I am also Treasurer of the 23rd Street Association and the 23rd Street Business Improvement District, on the steering committee of the American Lighting Association retail division and am active in the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce.

I am married to the former Faye Dottheim of St. Louis MO and have two daughers now 16 and 13 who attend the Fieldston School in Riverdale.
