Hey Rebels of 72,
I graduated from Alfred Univ.,in 1976,with a double major in Political Science and History. I also kept active in various sports and became a World Class Frisbee Master.
For the next four years I was a union carpenter, I worked in a cooperative delivery service and I did some lifeguarding. During this time I started to compete in state and national frisbee tournaments.
In 1982, while continuing to compete and lifeguard, I received my Masters degrees in Reading and
Early Childhood Ed. from Adelphi Univ. I also started to work at the North Side School in East Williston, N.Y.
1984 was a banner year! I won several national and state frisbee titles, the World Frisbee Accuracy Championship and the "heart" of my wife of 20 years, Lois.
I have been teaching grades K-4 for 21 years and exercising or reading in every spare moment.Lois and I are "outdoor-folk,"who are endurance athletes. Our motto is "longer, higher, farther." We run long distances,and mtn. bike and trek in the back-country of Colorado in the summers. The further away from the hustle and bustle of Long Island the more likely you are to find us!
