50th Birthday Bash - 05/15/2004
All day party in Great Neck
YOUR 50THBIRTHDAY
What
a day we had! About 40 former classmates
gathered at the girl’s gym for our tour of School.
Paul
Meyer [our former soccer coach and Gail’s older brother] led us on a tour
through the halls of our High School.
We
started at the Main lobby, viewed the new music rooms and proceeded to the girl’s
gym. Then we back tracked to the library.
By then some late comers caught up with
us.
We
headed to the lunch rooms and took a short break while Paul explained the
changes in school policy. The school is
on a “lock down”. No more venturing off
campus for lunch and joy rides.
We
ended our adventure at the newly expanded Boys Gym. Memories of graduation day filled the
room. Some of us went to a county
championship baseball game down at the field.
Eddie Ford’s son was playing!!
Next
on the agenda was our pizza party at Gino’s.
New York pizza, what a treat!
About 70 joined in on the
fun. My daughter Danielle handled
getting name tags on everyone and taking some photos.
During
the day small groups ventured back to the old neighborhoods and checked out
there old houses and elementary
schools.
After
Gino’s we strolled over to The
