40th Reunion - 05/05/2012

Our 40th Reunion was May 5 2012 We had about 110 paid attendees...about 1/4 of the class We started Friday at 5pm...by 8pm we had 75 in the bar at the Inn and at midnight 30 were still around. Thanks to David and Lois Einsidler for compiling all our past photos into a continuous slide show that played the whole weekend. Saturday at noon I got a little nervous that no one was at Ginos for the pizza party…BUT within 15 minutes 70 were downing pizza….at 1:30 we blasted up to school for a tour and demonstration of the robot that placed 3rd in the Nationals. The BIG party started at 6 and I had 6 CDs of era music. A highlight of the evening was a memorial by Danny Pincus for those classmates no longer with us. Thanks to Cheryl Gallagher for our reunion announcement and memorial posters. Midnight approached and 100 were still going strong…at 2am, 30 remained and I split at 2:30 am. I had planned about 30 for 10am brunch…BUT 60 showed up. I left 30 in the lobby at 2pm and for all I know, they may still be there!! My jaws still hurt from smiling. I couldn’t have done the evening without the help of my daughter Danielle, Gerry and Liz Maslow Montesano “1970” and yes Tommy’s sister. They worked tirelessly checking people in and handing out our goodie bags at the end of the evening.
